We are located in the middle of Skåne right by Lake Västra Ringsjön.
It may look like central Skåne, but the feeling at Ormanäs is that you are somewhere else.
Far away from everything centralized means.
Take a deep breath and take in the view of the lake, the land, the light and the dark.
We are here for both the short break and the long break.

LOCATION
Ormanäs Stugby is tucked away in the forest – a peaceful green oasis in the heart of Skåne. Here, you stay close to nature in simple, comfortable cottages, with forest trails starting just outside your door.Just a short walk away, on the other side of the tracks, you’ll find Ormanäsgården – a small farm with a country shop, dog kennel and sheep breeding.
STUGBY
At Ormanäs Stugby, you stay simply and close to nature, right in the middle of the forest. Our charming cottages each have their own character – perfect both for a short break and a longer stay.Just a short walk away, at Ormanäsgården, you’ll find even more accommodation options – including modern cottages, an apartment, and pitches for motorhomes.
HISTORY
Around the turn of the last century, Malmö Spårvägar began planning its own vacation paradise.
They wanted to offer their employees some time off to spend with their families.
They ran Ormanäs Semesterby, as it was called until the late 90s.
Each cottage open to summer residents has been carefully restored.
THE ANIMALS AT ORMANÄS
From Ormanäs Stugby, it’s just a short walk to Ormanäsgården, where the sheep graze by the shoreline meadows and help keep the landscape open.Here, a small-scale and sustainable lamb farm is run, and in the farm shop you’ll find their own lamb meat and beautiful sheepskins – a lovely part of everyday life around the cottage village.
