About us
Ormanäs Stugby has a long and heartfelt history that dates back to the mid-1900s, when the area served as a small holiday village for employees of Malmö Spårvägar, the city’s tram company. Here, nestled between forest and lake, simple cabins were built as a place for rest, community and carefree days – far from the noise of the city.
Today, Ormanäs Stugby is run by Åsa and Stefan, who care for the place with warmth and deep respect for its history, while gently guiding it into the future. They preserve what is genuine and close to nature, while at the same time developing the experience for today’s guests.
At Ormanäs Stugby, the forest embraces you – with stillness, presence and a sense that time is allowed to slow down. Here, past and present meet in an environment created for recovery, peace and quiet.
